I was going to tell the parents to call off all hostilities for one day only because of it being my special day (I'm 16), but helpfully they didn't need to be told. Presumably that was what all the hostilities were about yesterday. I did get some good fantasy books and archery stuff, which is always a bonus. And cake! Oh yes, birthday cake is always a good thing.
Yes, I know it's late again, but this time I think I can get away with it. After all, tomorrow is Saturday, and today is my birthday. You don't get to be 16 every day.
School was good. Someone wanted to light a candle to celebrate my birthday, but due to health and safety (or fear of said candle being used in an arson attack), the wick got removed. I swear I'm not having you guys on. Ah well, they tried. I got some cards at school too, as well as a few presents. No cake at school though. And definitely no flapjacks. I OD'd on flapjacks this summer so flapjacks are off the menu.
I'm still waiting on some presents from abroad, but they'll come eventually. I think.
